US Route 41, is a significant route of the US Numbered Highway System, and has been in use since 1926. The north-south highway is 2,000 miles long, and covers eight states; Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan. US Route 41 travels all the way from Miami, in Florida, to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. While the northern terminus of US Route 41 lies east of Copper Harbor in Michigan, the southern terminus is in Downtown Miami's Brickell neighborhood. From Naples in Florida, through the state of Georgia, and to Chattanooga in Tennessee, Route 41 closely parallels I-75.
